Ethan Edenburg is a comedian, musician, writer, and director based in Los Angeles. He is a founding member of the comedy rock band Wolves of Glendale, whose work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Forbes. His solo work pairs finely crafted songwriting with a comic perspective on the increasingly surreal experience of being alive right now. Armed primarily with an acoustic guitar, Ethan moves between the absurd and the sincere, writing about inequality, politics, work, morality, and the small indignities of everyday life. He approaches serious subjects without surrendering to seriousness, finding unexpected joy—and occasionally something approaching optimism—in places that might otherwise feel bleak. At the center of the show are the songs themselves: melodic, carefully constructed, and musically satisfying enough to live beyond the joke. The result is an hour that aims to be funny without being frivolous, thoughtful without becoming didactic, and genuinely pleasurable to listen to.
